Oden is a type of stew in Japanese cuisine. It is also classified as a hot pot dish. The soup is seasoned with bonito flakes and kelp, and various ingredients called 「Oden dane」 are added and simmered for a long time.
This oden is made from the soup stock extracted from the oxtail of Japanese black beef.
